Held at the Bedford Institute of Oceanography in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada - March 13, 2009

The Canadian Information Session on Remote-Sensing Applications to Fisheries was organised in order to increase discourse between scientists and local fishing communities. The uses of remtely-sensed imagery on fisheries managment and harvesting were discussed.
