IOCCG Monograph on Applications of Remote Sensing in Fisheries and Aquaculture -Second half of 2009
One of the goals of the “International Workshop on the Use of Remotely-Sensed Data as an Aid to Fisheries Research and Fisheries Management” was to plan the production of a monograph to be published by the International Ocean-Colour Coordinating Group. The monograph will include recommendations for enhanced utilization of Earth Observations (EO) in fisheries and aquaculture research and management. It will help to build capacity at the science level and the operational level that will allow interested parties to use rapidly evolving satellite technology to address fisheries management questions in the future. It will also help develop a demand for continued EO information products. Once published, the monograph will be distributed free of charge to all interested parties, and will also be available upon request from the IOCCG Project Office
