IOCCG Monograph on Applications of Remote Sensing in Fisheries and Aquaculture
One of the goals of the International Workshop on the Use of Remotely-Sensed Data as an Aid to Fisheries Research and Fisheries Management was to plan the production of a monograph to be published by the IOCCG. The monograph includes recommendations for enhanced utilization of Earth Observations (EO) in fisheries and aquaculture research and management. It will help to build capacity at the science level and the operational level that will allow interested parties to use rapidly evolving satellite technology to address fisheries management questions in the future. It will also help develop a demand for continued EO information products.
The full monograph is available for download here. A hard copy can be distributed upon request, free of charge, to all interested parties. If you would like to order a copy, please contact: vstuart -at- ioccg.org.
An outline of the monograph is available here.
